Here, after 96 hours of work is my finished

"Ozzy...(reflecting)"

I began this drawing on 29th April 2009 -
one week before my 3rd chemotherapy session.

I have to admit that it was hard going to concentrate, with all of the side effects, but I was defiant & determined to persevere with this drawing!

For me this piece will always be my
'Chemo drawing'
..my 'therapy for chemotherapy'.

I decided - as usual - to add my own 'special touch' to this image
& I am very pleased with the result.

(I just hope that Sharon would be too!!).

I completed this work on 8th June 2009

A special message from artist Lindsay Wright...

You have just been looking at my artwork....
"OZZY REFLECTING"
The picture at the top of this page shows the original artwork - 100% hand drawn in graphite pencil & beautifully & professionally double mounted & framed.

Just as with all of my artworks, the image that you see does not exist anywhere else in any other format.
My drawings are all created from a mixture of my imagination & old photographs that I spend weeks sifting through.
Therefore my artworks are all unique, never seen images!

This artwork is so 'personal' to both Ozzy & Sharon that I feel very deeply that it should only belong to themselves.
My mission with this particular piece therefore is to sell it to Ozzy & Sharon.

They will NEVER have seen this image, as whilst I drew Ozzy's image from a specially chosen photograph, it was entirely my own invention to create the intimate 'reflection' of Sharon
in Ozzy's glasses.

This artwork has a very significant & poignant place in my heart & in my life, as the 96 hours that it took to create were spread over the course of my chemotherapy which I was undergoing as a result of having been diagnosed with breast cancer just 2 months earlier in January 2009.

Throughout my cancer diagnosis & treatment, it was 'drawing' that kept me going & kept me positive & determined to keep going & to continue to be creative.

I know that Sharon also has been a victim of this evil disease, & therefore I also pledge to give 10% of this sale (as I do with all of my sales) to my chosen cancer charities as detailed on both of my websites.

So now it's your turn!
You get £2000 from me!
But what do I get from you in return?
All I am asking is for someone to help me to get this artwork to Ozzy himself.

My large artworks take in the region of 100 hrs to draw
& currently sell for between £4000 & £6000.
"Ozzy Reflecting" is priced at £6000
So if you are the one with the connections, or you know someone who may have the connections to help you to connect with Ozzy himself, & if you are that person that I am looking for who can help me to sell this artwork to Ozzy Osbourne
I pledge a third of my price to you as my way of saying 'Thank you'!

As I said, of the remaining £4000 - 10% will be paid by me in person to my specific cancer charities to help other cancer patients like myself.
