Cancer Charities
In January 2009 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer & have since undergone two operations followed by Chemotherapy & Radiotherapy.
Due to my personal experience, plus my 9 years work drawing for 'Macmillan Cancer Support', I will be donating 10% of all work sold & commissioned to Cancer charities.
Donations will go to:
'The Pink Ribbon Foundation'
(Money already donated)
'We Are Macmillan Cancer Support'
(Money already donated)
..& the ongoing developement of
'Comet Ward'
the Chemotherapy ward at Crawley Hospital, West Sussex, UK, where I had my Chemotherapy.
(Money already donated)
One of the key fund raisers at 'Comet',
Maria Hains (another survivor for 9 years),
has dedicated her life to raising money for the 'Comet Ward', & it's thanks to her that I have been very lucky to have the benefit of the chemotherapy suite at Crawley, & for the provision of the new 'Cold Cap'!
Thanks to Maria & Friends they have completed a£25,000 appeal for chemotherapy equipment and started anew appeal for a £25,000 breast scanner for the breast cancer clinic.
Much hard workgoes into the organisation of these events and Maria and her band of volunteers have worked tirelessly.
'COPPAFEEL'
I am in the process of adding a newly discovered excellent
Breast Cancer Charity to my site, details of which will be here soon...
